Ruinning you MBR after deleting partition of a dual boot computer

This is my problem today, but after browsing the web I got the answer. If you deleting a partition from a dual boot computer, then you'll ruining your MBR. In my case, my computer is a Linux-XP dual boot. After I delete the Linux part, after booting my computer directly go to grub prompt.

From here you should type this:
root(hd0,0)
makeactive
chainloader +1
boot

Then it'll start your Windows XP.

I get this info from:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?t=275446

If you want to fix the MBR, there are many tutorials on the internet. I know one, but never test it, it's in here:
